Tommy Thompson Park

Finally, I did a small trip to Toronto again. On Monday I got a day off, so I checked Tommy Thompson Park, it’s on the of the most south point of Toronto I think. It’s on the island, you can see the peak from the Toronto islands, but it’s more western. I expected that it takes more time to get there, but it took around one hour on my bike :). Its kind of island reservation for wild animals and all the island is made by a human. Actually, I was a little bit disappointed, I expected it a little bit more adventurous, but there were a lot of people (od the main way) so nothing special for me. I should probably explore more sideways to see more wilderness. Fortunately, I found a really nice place to watch the lake and I could relax for a little while. From the park, you have also a nice view of downtown. Again see the pictures to better imaginations.:)

The weather is still awesome, how you can see from the pictures. Hope it will be like that a few more weeks. I worked a lot last week as I mentioned in the previous post, I definitely need more money to survive, but hope it will be good.

I also extended my stay in the current house until the end of January (4 more months). Its not but ideal here (noisy construction right next to our house, strict and sometimes little crazy house lords) but I was lazy to look for something new, so yeah that’s main reason why I stay!:) Also new tenants moved in our house, so can meet again different people, this time mainly girls, and it is a nice change :).

On Sunday I am going to Massey Hall at the concert one of my favorite musicians Sixto Rodriguez (who haven’t seen the documentary Searching for Sugarman, do it now!!) I am really looking forward!! I bought a ticket through the StubHub, it was really expensive (250 USD for two tickets) but I got it like a present from my parents :). I let you know in the next post how was it!:)

Ok. that’s it… Keep tuned and read me next week.
